The purpose of this Focused Group Discussion (FGD) is to gather valuable insight on the trade unions perspective, understanding, concerns and needs for the devlopment of workers Charter of demands on a Just and Green Energy Transition, with particular emphasis on Nigeria Oil, Gas and Power Sectors.
KEY ISSUES
- Awareness and Knowledge of Climate crisis and just energy transition (JET).
- Key issues and/ or concerns about ETP implementation on workers and their unions.
- Trade unions roles in the implementation of Energy Transition plan.
- Level of the unions engagement on JET issue and their capacity for effective participation in the implementation process of ETP in Nigeria.
- Incorporating Unions needs and perspective in ETP implementation strategies and other measures.
- Energy Poverty and Gender.
